Accessibility

This site aims to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Where it falls short, we want to hear about it and fix it.

What has been implemented

  • Every page works without JavaScript, including the multi-step intake form, which renders as a single form and submits to the server.
  • A skip link, landmark regions, one H1 per page, and a logical heading order.
  • Visible keyboard focus on every interactive element, with the mobile menu trapping and restoring focus correctly.
  • Form fields have persistent labels, errors are listed in a summary that links to the field, and the summary receives focus.
  • Text and interface colours are checked for contrast against their backgrounds; colour is never the only way information is conveyed.
  • Animation is decorative. It respects the reduced-motion setting in your operating system, pauses offscreen and in background tabs, and no essential meaning is carried by motion alone.
  • Touch targets are at least 44 pixels, and layouts reflow without horizontal scrolling down to 320 pixels wide.

Known limitations

Where a downloadable document is published in future, it may not yet be fully tagged for screen readers. If you need an accessible version of anything on this site, ask and we will provide one.

Reporting a barrier

Tell us the page, what you were trying to do, and the assistive technology or browser you were using, through the contact page. We treat accessibility reports as bugs, not feedback.
